Dave is the owner of the Allegra Franchises in Western North Carolina. Marketing, printing, and mailing services are the core of our service offering. The company has been assisting a large variety of local clients for the past twenty-five years. Over the years, the company has grown to 32 Team Members after opening the business with four. Prior to starting the company Dave was a regional sales rep for Pitney Bowes.
With the support of a great Team, Dave is responsible for the operations of the current Allegra and Image 360 locations throughout the region. The company has grown to be one of the largest providers of marketing materials for area businesses and the top provider within the 300 Center Allegra Network.
Dave has been active in a variety of non-profit organizations in the Asheville, NC area. He really enjoys the work that he does, but also enjoys plenty of time with his family, golf, outdoor activities and mowing the grass.
Bill is originally from Virginia, and has called the Asheville area home for the last 25 years. He has over 25+ years of experience in the Graphic Arts industry. Bill currently lives in Black Mountain and his two greatest accomplishments are his daughter Lillie, and son William. As the director of sales for Allegra Image 360, Bill enjoys getting to meet new people everyday and discuss ways to grow their businesses with creative marketing solutions. Katie Wilmot has almost eight years of experience in print and production with Allegra. She started in our Hendersonville location and worked her way up to management. She has since relocated to our Asheville store working in project management and has more than doubled her client base and volume of work being produced. She is really enjoying the change of pace. When she isn’t engrossed with her work, she is rolling up her sleeves to renovate her new home with her husband. Katie is a go getter who can accomplish anything she puts her mind to and isn’t afraid to put in some elbow grease along the way.
Shirley started in the printing business at her father’s shop when she was 15. She worked her way up from bindery to managing the shop until they sold it and moved to Asheville. She then started doing sales for another local printing company and eventually moved up to managing the shop. In 2016 Allegra Asheville purchased the company she was working at. She is now a Senior Project Manager at our Westgate office. Printing has been in her family for three generations, it is simply a way of life for her. Shirley enjoys the interaction with her customers and producing a quality product we can be proud of.
Shelby Barlowe has spent most of her adult life becoming a knowledge center for print and mail. Having attended Chowan University and earned a degree in Graphic Communcations, she is a powerhouse of industry knowledge and has become our resident expert since coming to Allegra in 2020, always willing to help her fellow colleagues problem-solve and answer questions related to the field. An exuberant young woman, Shelby spends her free time with her fluffy dog, cats, and fiancé and enjoys weekends playing tabletop games with friends.
